In the very north part of Norway, you still will find traces after the second world war. Along the coast there some places are old, rusty barbed wire, rolled together to a ball sometime after the war.
It lay there as if to make us not forget, and to remind us to appreciate our freedom even more.
The rusty barbed wire that inspired this design is surrounded of beautiful nature. And in the summer, you will see the combination of grey stones, green grass and this brown rust.
The word Spire is Norwegian for sprout. It symbolizes the growth both in the nature and out of freedom.
