About pattern

This pattern is available in Norwegian and English, and contains written text and chart.

The vest is knitted bottom up, and starts with a rib. The first part is worked in the round, and from the arm pits it is worked back and forth.

The cast off for the V-neck in front starts a few rows afterword the arm pits.

The story about vest Boy

When the weather makes you realise that you can’t put on the child neither a sweater nor just a t-shirt, then you do need a vest. One that gives the child plenty of room for movement and keep him warm enough.

This was how the work with the vest Boy started. The idea for the colourwork was worked out first. Then the vest was given a traditional shape with V-neck. And not too long thereafter a little boy could wear the first sample.
