About pattern
Myk is the Norwegian word for the English word soft.
The hat is worked from the bottom up, and with two yarns held together. And the rib is folded up after the hat is finished.
The pattern is available in Norwegian and English.
The story about Hat, Lightning
The inspiration for the hat Myk, comes from a shawl Aud B knitted. It involved two types of yarn held together, and both types of yarn contained silk. The result was a very soft and lovely shawl.
Aud B wanted an equally soft hat, and that's how this design came about.
