The jacket is worked bottom up. The sleeves and first part of body are worked round. From armpits is the jacket worked flat. If one wish to work the whole body flat, remember to keep the white thread at the WS between the squares.

The sleeves and body are assembled with raglan. Bands mid front and collar are knitted last. The button holes in the right band.

Some parts of the jacket are knitted with double thread. That will be the squares, the collar and the bands.

The story about Granite

The colour and texture of this jacket are inspired by the beautiful rocks along the coast in the northern part of Norway.

The first version of Granite was finished in March 2014, and Aud B just loved it! She had a couple of ideas to adjustments, and wanted to make a second version. It took a bit longer than expected, of more than one reason. But here it is, three years later. And Aud B still loves it.
